Seasons
come,
And then
they turn
Life goes on
as before,
The same
winter sun
The summer
rain
Still
nothing's the same, I'm sure.
That
fleeting passage
Thro' my
nook in the woods
And
suddenly, everything's changed....
Sun shines a
little weaker
The rain's a
little bleaker
Now, the
absence, a sensation untamed!
The faded
footprints on my insides,
Your legacy
I shade them
from the rain,
I wipe my
tears, try to smile
Inhale the
majestic journey
A lilting
graceful refrain.
Your
passage, an edifice of love
I'll uphold
it
Till nothing
of me remains,
But truth
is, that life
Once touched
by your flow
Will never
be the same again.
