Lights up my world

Each time you hurt,

I cry.

You’re not a memory,

But a loving presence

Alive, breathing, in my heart

You reside.

Intertwined, our moments

Weave in and out of time

I see you watch me early morning

A half-opened misty blue eye.

You never left me, nor I you

Just living out our breaths destined
